This past weekend I met Shawn and Hannelize in the West Coast National Park. Shawn and Hannelize love my Cherish series, and wanted to do their pre shoot and also to do something surreal. We had a bit of a brainstorming session, and we came up with an idea of a dream scape. At first we were going to combine a few elements, but then we thought why not try and create a dream world. Ideas went back and forth but eventually we settled on the dream idea, and running along water. The only problem was that to shoot running on water in Cape Town this past weekend would have involved massive swells, and likely the Coast Gaurd and NSRI (even though we know magic)…The only place I could think of shooting was on the calm waters of Churchaven Bay. So that is where we met.
Im very much looking forward to working with both Shawn and Hannelize in the near future.
