When I was enroute from Castellena Grotte, I had to catch a train from Bari to Rome. I had a couple hours to kill waiting for the train connection. Off to the old city I went. It was fascinating to see how you can just go into apartment buildings and pretty much peoples homes (not that I did now!!). It seemed that all the stairways were littered with Christianity. It almost felt like the everyday apartment building was hiding secret works of art. I thought it would be nice to showcase them like this.
