Recently, I was fortunate enough to be invited by Vito and Amelia to come with them to Italy to hang out and to do an Italian themed Cherish shoot!. The theme we thought of doing was natural portraits in the old city center’s. Im still working on those images specifically and will be posting them in the coming week or so. I also spent a day in Bari capturing a ceremony of Russian pilgrims attending a ceremony at St Nicola Church. The church was built by a Russian Czar in Bari ( a loooong time ago). Recently the church was given back to the Russian Orthodox church, by the Italian Government. Anyway, you can google all that. I was there to witness an amazing thing and I will be posting images from that soon.
The below images are of Manuela and Andrea. Andrea is the brother of Vito and they have decided that they would like me to capture their wedding in Italy in 2010 (yes I have cool job). With all wedding shoots I like to get to know the couple as best I can, so that we are all friends on the wedding day, and it just nice to have more casual shots than just all wedding shots (Ahh, gramer!!)
My time in Italy was life transforming, I love it there, and look forward to spending my future off seasons over there. This is the first post from my Italian trip. We shot the portraits of the two around Castellano Grotte.
Come back soon to see more from Italy, and my special assignment with my great friends Vito and Amelia!!
