Michelle and I drove up to meet Roddy and Taryn in super beautiful and peaceful Bettie’s Bay. Its just over an hour outside of Cape Town, and a lovely drive and place to spend some time.
Taryn is originally from Namibia and Roddy from Northern Ireland. I think the first shot is a bit of a tribute to Namibian life.
We saw rare Oyster Catchers on the beach (rare birds), pretty amazing. During out shoot I mentioned that I would love to one day do a shoot in the sea, in the waves….needless to say. No more needed to be said.
We had a great evening too, as Michelle and I were invited back for a braai. We couldn’t stay too long, but had great laughs. I cant wait for their wedding soon in Tulbach.
