I received a call on Thursday morning from Charne. She wanted to surprise Dad by getting a new family portrait for Christmas. I had a wedding on Saturday afternoon, so we agreed to meet at my studio early on Saturday morning for an hour. They were all really enthusiastic and Charne said she wanted something fun….would I do anything that isn’t fun?? I hope not!
