It’s wedding season again in Cape Town, and the weather is starting to show signs of summer…YAY!! That means, sun, surf (although messy
) and lots of celebration. I would like to think that the shoot with Bonnie and Brian is my first shoot of the new season. It turns out Bonnie lives about 100 meters from me, and I learn’t this while surfing a week ago in Muizenberg when I bumped into Brian amongst perfect conditions out at sea. Kinda crazy!! Anyway, we decided to do the pre wedding portraits near where we both live in the Sea Point/Bantry Bay area. We met up on Ocean View drive at 9:30am on Sunday in Fresnaye and it was just a fabulous warm morning with a cool spring breeze. We were all feeling great!! We landed up shooting on Lions Head Mountain, Queens Beach and then drove over to Bo Kaap to get some rustic backgrounds for our portraits. I’m absolutely thrilled with the images, and cant wait for their upcoming wedding at the 12 Apostles on September 24th.
